An honor for me...and my dad

During my time at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I recall my dad visiting campus only a few times. One of those visits – when I was inducted into Mortar Board National Honor Society. It was incredibly important to my dad – something that made him super proud of me.

So, when the Mortar Board Forum publication arrived at my home last week, highlighting my first book, Start with the Give-Me Shots, the gratitude I experienced was enormous, both for the honor but also for the connection – my dad’s lessons being acknowledged by the organization that meant so much to him (and me).

Thank you to Mortar Board for the acknowledgement, for me and for my dad. Congratulations to all the other members for their recent accomplishments. And, thank you to all who continue to support and share my book with others.
